Neoclassical Walnut and Gold Carved Double Bed with Ottoman

This ornate neoclassical double bed and matching ottoman 3ds Max model features intricate wood carving, gold leaf detailing, and tufted fabric upholstery. The set comprises a grand double bed and a coordinating tufted ottoman, both defined by an opulent neoclassical aesthetic. The bed features a high, elaborately carved walnut-finished headboard and footboard, accented with gilded decorative flourishes. The headboard includes central button-tufted fabric upholstery, while the footboard mirrors this material treatment. The accompanying rectangular ottoman follows the same design language, featuring deep button tufting on its seat and ornate, curved wooden legs with gold-finished accents. A selection of decorative cushions, including striped and solid-coloured textiles, completes the bedding ensemble, providing a cohesive, highly detailed appearance.

The download is a 61.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max asset into a project, ensure the file is merged into your scene using the native layer structure to maintain material organisation. The geometry is dense, reflecting the intricate carvings, so consider using proxy objects if populating a larger interior. Apply custom textures to the fabric elements to suit specific project colour palettes, and use high-dynamic-range imagery to effectively capture the reflections on the gold-leaf detailing and polished wooden surfaces. Proper light placement is essential to highlight the depth of the carving.
