Neoclassical Grey Wood Grandfather Clock with Gold Figurine

This SketchUp model of a neoclassical grandfather clock features a grey wood cabinet topped with a decorative gold warrior figurine. This floor-standing timepiece embodies neoclassical design principles through its structured, architectural silhouette. The base features recessed panelling, while the mid-section contains a glass-fronted cabinet door detailed with ornate carvings. A prominent circular clock face with Roman numerals is encased in a gold-toned frame, set beneath a domed top. The apex is finished with a striking, figurative gold statue of a warrior holding a spear, adding a dramatic, sculptural element. The entire piece is rendered in a muted grey wood grain finish, providing a sophisticated contrast to the metallic gold accents throughout the design.

The download is an 8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can import this SketchUp component directly into their scene, ensuring the axis is aligned with the floor plane for accurate placement. The model is organized with logical grouping, allowing for easy selection of the clock body versus the ornate gold topper. To achieve realistic results, apply high-quality wood grain materials to the cabinet surfaces and adjust the reflections on the gold elements and glass face within your rendering engine to capture the subtle interplay of light and shadow on the detailed carvings.

Ideal for formal living rooms, traditional libraries, or luxury hotel lobbies, this piece serves as a strong focal point in period-inspired interiors. It pairs well with antique sideboards, heavy velvet drapery, or dark wood paneling. Architects and interior designers often search for such statement timepieces when looking to ground a space with a sense of history and scale. It works effectively in high-end residential projects or heritage-style hospitality environments where a touch of classical elegance is required to complete the room's narrative.
