About this asset

This SketchUp model features a minimalist sliding door wardrobe with integrated open shelving, finished in a light natural wood veneer. This large-scale storage unit is designed with a clean, minimalist aesthetic, featuring a light natural wood grain finish throughout. The configuration includes a section of sliding doors for concealed storage, complemented by an exposed open shelving unit on the left side, which features curved edges for a softer profile. A continuous overhead storage section spans the entire width, providing additional capacity. The overall design is functional and streamlined, prioritising a neutral palette and geometric simplicity, making it a versatile storage solution for contemporary interior spaces where cohesion and efficient space utilisation are required.

The download is an 8.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working with this SketchUp file, ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for storage or furniture to maintain scene organisation. The geometry is grouped, allowing for easy scaling to fit specific wall dimensions or ceiling heights. Users should verify that material UV mapping is preserved when applying custom textures or finishes. Given its size, it is recommended to manage the component complexity by using the outliner to toggle visibility during the active modelling phase of a project.

This wardrobe system is well-suited for master bedrooms, walk-in closets, or dressing areas within high-end residential projects. Its neutral wood finish allows it to pair seamlessly with various interior styles, from scandinavian to modern minimalist settings. Professionals searching for built-in storage solutions, bedroom cabinetry, or custom closet layouts will find this model an efficient base for rapid visualisation. It is particularly useful during the design development stage when specifying functional joinery that balances closed storage with open display requirements for personal items and accessories.
