About this asset

This contemporary natural wood display table for 3ds Max features a heavy live-edge style top on a solid black plinth base. This retail display table presents a thick, rectangular slab of natural wood with prominent grain patterns and knots, evoking a rustic-modern aesthetic. The substantial tabletop rests on a recessed, minimalist black plinth base, creating a visual contrast between the organic warmth of the timber and the stark, architectural foundation. The piece is presented as a functional merchandising unit, complete with various abstract jewellery display stands and a small handbag, demonstrating its utility in a commercial setting. The proportions are balanced for floor-standing display, providing a stable platform for high-end product presentation.

The download is an 11.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised as a single asset group, allowing for easy placement within retail interior scenes. Designers can adjust the wood texture mapping to suit specific lighting conditions or scale the unit to fit custom floor plans. The black base is a separate object, enabling material overrides for different finishes like matte, gloss, or metallic. Ensure the pivot point is set to the floor level for efficient snapping to ground planes when arranging multiple units in a showroom layout.

Ideally suited for high-end retail environments, this display table works effectively in luxury jewellery boutiques, fashion showrooms, and concept stores. It provides a natural focal point for product curation, pairing well with minimalist interior designs or industrial-style retail spaces. Professionals searching for retail store fixtures, merchandising tables, or boutique display furniture will find this piece versatile for creating immersive shopping experiences. It is particularly effective when integrated into commercial project stages, from initial concept visualisations to final showroom fit-out designs.
