About this asset

This narrow storage cabinet for SketchUp features a natural wood frame with integrated rattan panel doors and open shelving. This tall, slim-profile storage unit combines open-concept display shelving on one side with closed-door storage on the other. The structural frame is finished in a light natural wood tone, while the cabinet doors and drawer fronts are inset with woven rattan mesh, providing a tactile, organic aesthetic. The design includes four open shelves suitable for decor and a mix of vertical doors and horizontal drawer-style panels. Proportions are elongated and vertical, making it ideal for compact spaces where vertical storage is required. Small decorative items are included as part of the asset composition.

The download is a 4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups for easy manipulation of the cabinet doors or individual shelves. Users should check the component axes before placement to ensure correct alignment against walls. Apply wood grain textures using the native paint bucket tool if customisation is required, or adjust the global scale to fit specific ceiling heights. The model is lightweight, allowing for smooth navigation even when multiple units are placed in a larger residential interior scene or workspace.

This piece works well in modern residential interiors, particularly in bedrooms, hallways, or living areas where a Japandi or organic minimalist aesthetic is desired. It serves as an effective storage solution for books, ceramics, or personal accessories. Designers can pair this cabinet with light-coloured timber flooring, neutral wall palettes, or soft linen textiles.
