Natural Wood Louvred Folding Door Set

This 3ds Max model features a set of two natural wood louvred folding doors with a classic slatted design for residential interiors. The asset comprises two vertical folding door units, each constructed from light-toned timber. The design features a traditional louvred aesthetic, with horizontal slats arranged in a grid pattern across the height of each panel. The doors are depicted in a partially folded configuration, showcasing the structural hinges and the rhythmic texture of the timber grain. The panels maintain a consistent, slender profile, suitable for closet enclosures or room dividers where ventilation and a classic, warm material palette are required. The finish highlights the natural wood texture throughout the surface.

The download is a 4.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical pivot points to facilitate easy placement and animation of the folding mechanism. Users should ensure the material library is correctly linked to the texture maps provided in the archive to maintain the natural wood appearance. The geometry is clean, allowing for simple scaling to match specific door opening heights. It is best practice to assign these to a dedicated 'doors' layer for visibility control within complex interior scenes.

These folding doors are ideal for residential projects, particularly within bedrooms for walk-in wardrobes or as elegant room partitions. Their traditional louvred style pairs well with classic or coastal interior design themes. Professionals searching for 'bifold closet doors', 'timber louvred screens', or 'traditional interior folding doors' will find this asset useful for adding detail to architectural visualisations. They provide a realistic solution for interior storage solutions where a breathable, textured, and visually light door panel is needed to complete a room.
