About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a low-profile live-edge coffee table with butterfly joints and four matching white floor cushions. This low-profile coffee table features a thick, raw-edge wood slab top, highlighting the natural grain and organic contours of the timber. The central split in the slab is reinforced with traditional butterfly joints, adding a structural detail that contrasts with the rustic aesthetic. Supported by a solid wooden base, the table sits at a height intended for floor-level use. The set includes four square, minimalist floor cushions upholstered in a clean white fabric, providing a balanced, light-toned contrast to the warm, textured wood of the table surface.

The download is a 63.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, separating the table geometry from the floor cushions for easier management. Users should check the pivot points to ensure correct placement on floor planes. Materials are assigned using standard slots, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood grain scale or fabric texture tiling. For optimal results, apply a high-quality wood texture map and adjust the bump settings to capture the depth of the live-edge detail during the rendering process.

Ideal for creating serene, grounded interiors, this set works effectively in wabi-sabi living rooms, meditation spaces, or informal cafe lounge areas. It pairs well with minimalist decor, natural textures, and open-plan layouts that prioritise floor-based interaction. Professionals searching for organic furniture, Japanese-inspired interior elements, or rustic low-profile tables will find this asset suitable for residential projects or boutique hospitality environments where a calm, tactile atmosphere is desired. The set provides a complete, ready-to-place solution for low-seating arrangements in contemporary architectural visualisations.
