About this asset

This wabi-sabi style SketchUp model features a live-edge wooden bench with a partial spindle back and a matching wall-mounted coat rack. This entryway set centres on a low-profile bench crafted from raw, natural-edge timber, showcasing the organic, irregular grain of the wood. A partial backrest, constructed with slender vertical metal spindles, provides a refined contrast to the heavy, rustic slab seat. The bench is supported by tapered wooden legs. Accompanying the seating is a wall-mounted coat rack, finished in a matching light wood tone, complete with a collection of decorative accessories including woven bags, a hat, and a small potted plant, adding a layer of lived-in, authentic detail to the assembly.

The download is a 54.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this set into a SketchUp project, import the component and position it against an interior wall. Ensure the bench sits flush with the floor plane and the coat rack is mounted at an appropriate height for the space. Use the native material editor to adjust the wood grain scale if necessary to match the project's lighting environment. The model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and modification of individual accessories or the removal of the background decor items.

Ideally suited for residential foyers, mudrooms, or boutique hotel lobbies, this set creates an inviting, tactile transition space. It pairs effectively with minimalist or organic contemporary interiors, particularly when placed near textured wall finishes like lime wash or plaster. Designers looking for authentic, ready-to-use entryway solutions will find this model useful for adding character to rendered hallway scenes.
