About this asset

This natural rattan dining set for 3ds Max features a round woven-top table and two matching chairs with soft grey seat cushions. This tropical-inspired dining set comprises a circular table and two matching armchairs, all constructed from light-toned woven rattan. The table features a tight, radial weave pattern on the surface, supported by curved legs that terminate in small metallic feet. The chairs offer a semi-circular, wrap-around backrest design with a continuous rattan weave structure, complemented by removable, firm-foam seat cushions upholstered in a neutral grey fabric. The overall aesthetic is organic and lightweight, suitable for both indoor sunrooms and semi-protected outdoor dining areas, providing a cohesive look through consistent material application and woven detailing.

The download is a 3.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this 3ds Max set into your project, merge the file into your scene and ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base of the legs. The rattan textures are mapped to follow the weave geometry, allowing for easy material adjustments if you need to modify the wood tone or cushion colour. Use standard object grouping to manage the set as a single unit when arranging multiple units in a restaurant or cafe layout.

Ideal for residential sunrooms, conservatories, or boutique cafe interiors, this dining set brings an airy, relaxed feel to any space. It pairs well with light timber flooring, linen curtains, and indoor greenery. Designers often search for this type of furniture when specifying projects that require a natural, tactile aesthetic, such as beachside villas or casual terrace dining areas. It serves as a practical solution for smaller floor plans where a compact, circular footprint is required to maintain efficient circulation paths.
