About this asset

This 3ds Max bistro set features a round rattan table and two matching chairs, ideal for creating relaxed outdoor or indoor seating. This bistro-style set includes one circular table and two matching chairs, all constructed from woven natural rattan. The chairs feature a curved backrest with a rhythmic vertical slat design, providing an airy and lightweight aesthetic. The table base mirrors the woven structure of the chairs, creating a cohesive visual language. The set is completed by two small white cups placed on the glass tabletop, adding a sense of scale and utility. The natural, warm tones of the rattan material offer a tactile, organic quality suitable for casual, sun-drenched spaces.

The download is a 15.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max model into a scene, ensure the pivot points are set to the base of each object for easy placement on floor surfaces. The geometry is organised by component, allowing for individual adjustment of the chairs and table. Apply appropriate material maps to the rattan textures to maintain the organic look, and use standard lighting setups to cast soft, natural shadows that enhance the intricate woven details of the furniture pieces.

This rattan set is perfectly suited for residential balconies, sunrooms, and garden terraces, where a light and breezy atmosphere is desired. It also functions well in hospitality settings such as boutique cafe patios or hotel lounge areas. Designers often pair this set with neutral-toned outdoor textiles or lush potted greenery to emphasise a tropical or bohemian aesthetic.
