Mustard Yellow Leather Swivel Armchair with Throw

This contemporary mustard yellow leather armchair 3ds Max model features a sleek swivel base and a draped houndstooth throw. Defined by its organic, curved silhouette, this contemporary armchair features a continuous seat and backrest upholstered in a smooth, mustard-toned leather. The shell is supported by a slender, four-legged metal swivel base with a muted brown finish. A contrasting houndstooth-patterned fabric throw is draped over the right armrest, adding a textural layer to the composition. The proportions are compact yet inviting, designed to provide ergonomic support while maintaining a clean, minimalist profile. The integration of the throw suggests a residential application, though the clean lines suit various professional settings.

The download is a 13.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users should import this 3ds Max asset into their scene using the merge command to maintain layer integrity. The model is scaled for standard interior environments, though checking pivot points for the swivel mechanism is recommended if animation is required. Materials are applied as standard shaders, allowing for easy adjustment of leather reflectivity or fabric tiling on the throw. Ensure the light setup accounts for the subtle sheen of the leather to achieve realistic highlights across the curved surfaces.

This armchair is ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern executive office suites where a statement accent chair is required. It pairs effectively with side tables, floor lamps, and area rugs to create a focused reading nook or a relaxed seating arrangement. Professionals searching for a stylish, comfortable chair with a distinct colour profile will find this piece versatile for both minimalist and eclectic interior design schemes. It is a suitable addition to visualisations requiring a refined, lived-in aesthetic.
