Modern Wooden Study Desk and Shelving Set

This collection of modern wooden study desks and wall-mounted shelving, modelled for SketchUp, offers versatile workspace options. This set includes four distinct desk configurations and a matching wall-mounted bookshelf. The designs feature minimalist aesthetics with clean lines and natural wood finishes, ranging from light birch-toned timber to warmer walnut-like stains. One desk includes a three-drawer storage unit with square hardware, while others focus on slim profiles with integrated drawers and tapered legs. The wall shelf is a simple floating design suitable for books and small accessories. Each piece is constructed with straightforward geometry, emphasising functional surface areas and structural simplicity suitable for contemporary interior design schemes.

The download is a 4.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Utilise these components in SketchUp by importing the file directly into your workspace. Each desk and shelf unit is grouped for easy selection and placement. You can apply custom material textures to the wood surfaces using the paint bucket tool to match specific project requirements. Manage the visibility of different desk types by assigning them to separate layers or tags, allowing for efficient toggling during the design iteration process or when creating multiple layout options for a client presentation.
