About this asset

This modern wooden bookshelf set, modelled in SketchUp, includes two distinct shelving units styled with various decorative items. This set features two modular shelving units crafted with a natural wood finish. The first unit is a tall, narrow tower with three integrated drawers, each featuring a small round knob. The second unit is a larger, geometric wall-mounted or freestanding structure with an asymmetrical layout of open compartments. Both units come pre-populated with decorative assets, including rows of books, a storage box, candles, and small toy vehicles. The construction reflects a clean, contemporary aesthetic, focusing on functional storage solutions that double as display cases for personal objects and interior styling elements.

The download is a 5.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised into groups, allowing for easy placement and individual selection of the decor components. Users can adjust the scale to fit specific wall configurations or move the decorative books and objects to different shelves to customise the composition. The wood texture is mapped to the geometry, and the components are layered logically, making it simple to hide or remove the decorative elements if a cleaner, empty shelf is required for a specific render or project phase.

These units are suitable for residential living rooms, home offices, or study areas where a mix of open display and closed storage is required. They pair well with contemporary interior schemes, providing a lived-in feel through the included accessories. Professionals searching for shelving units, storage furniture, or pre-styled decor sets for architectural visualisations will find these assets useful for populating interior scenes quickly during the design development or presentation stages of a project, adding immediate detail to empty walls and corners.
