About this asset

This modern window treatment set for SketchUp features two types of curtains, timber-look blinds, and a minimalist roller shade. This collection provides a versatile range of window coverings suitable for various interior styles. The set includes a pair of floor-length curtains featuring a layered aesthetic with a sheer white panel and a heavier grey drape. Accompanying these is a horizontal timber-style slat blind with a warm natural wood finish and a clean white roller shade mechanism. Each item is modelled with realistic folds and soft geometry to ensure natural light diffusion in a scene. The components are presented as distinct entities, allowing for easy placement and adjustment within a project's window frames.

The download is a 20.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can import these assets as a single SketchUp component or explode them to use individual elements. The geometry is clean, making it straightforward to apply custom fabric textures or adjust the opacity of the sheer curtain layers. Because these models are grouped, they can be scaled to fit specific window widths easily. For high-quality renders, ensure the curtain faces are correctly oriented to allow for accurate light transmission and shadow casting when using external rendering plugins within the SketchUp environment.

These window treatments are essential for detailing residential living rooms, bedrooms, and home office interiors where natural light control is required. The neutral colour palette allows them to integrate seamlessly into both contemporary and minimalist design schemes. Professionals often search for these assets when finalising interior visualisations for apartments, hotels, or commercial office spaces. They pair effectively with modern furniture layouts and help to establish a sense of depth and realism in architectural renderings, particularly when positioned near glazing or balcony doors.
