About this asset

This modern 3ds Max reception desk features a striking white marble facade contrasted by a warm natural wood side panel. The desk presents a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by its geometric interplay of materials. A large, monolithic volume finished in white marble with grey veining forms the primary counter and front-facing surface. This is sharply bisected by a recessed, illuminated diagonal detail that transitions into a natural wood-toned side section. The desk includes an integrated work surface and is presented with a standard task chair and computer monitor, providing a realistic sense of scale. The combination of cool stone and warm timber textures makes this a versatile piece for high-end commercial lobby environments.

The download is a 26.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the texture maps for the marble and wood finishes are correctly path-linked to maintain material fidelity. The object is structured as a single assembly, making it straightforward to position within a floor plan or lobby layout. Users can easily adjust the lighting intensity of the integrated diagonal light strip to suit the overall mood of the interior render, ensuring the material reflections on the marble surface remain physically accurate during final production.

This reception desk is ideal for professional office lobbies, boutique hotel foyers, or high-end retail showroom entrances. Its neutral palette allows it to complement a wide range of interior design styles, from minimalist corporate spaces to warmer, welcoming hospitality environments. Professionals searching for a sleek front-of-house solution will find this asset useful for visualising professional administrative areas. It pairs well with contemporary seating options, decorative indoor plants, and minimalist wall panelling, providing a polished and functional focal point for any public-facing commercial project.
