About this asset

This modern backless stool is a SketchUp model featuring a white fabric-upholstered seat supported by a black wire-frame metal base. This backless stool presents a clean, minimalist aesthetic suitable for contemporary interiors. The design centres on a rectangular, softly padded seat cushion upholstered in a neutral white fabric. This sits atop a distinctive wire-frame base constructed from thin, vertical black metal rods. The base flares slightly towards the floor, providing a stable footing while maintaining a lightweight visual profile. The structure is open and airy, allowing light to pass through the frame, which keeps the piece from feeling heavy in smaller spaces. It is a simple, functional seating element with precise, geometric lines.

The download is a 768 KB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can snap the base to floor planes or place it atop custom cabinetry. The geometry is clean, allowing for straightforward material application if a different fabric texture or metal finish is required. It is recommended to keep the model on a dedicated layer for easy toggling during render viewports. Since the file size is efficient, multiple instances can be placed in a scene without significantly impacting viewport performance or model navigation.

This stool fits perfectly in residential dressing areas, walk-in closets, or as extra seating in a compact living room. Its neutral palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into modern or industrial-style schemes. Designers often specify such pieces for boutique retail displays or hotel vanity areas where a low-profile, stylish seat is needed. It pairs well with minimalist consoles or as a standalone accent piece. Professionals searching for 'backless vanity stool' or 'wire frame seating' will find this model a versatile addition to their libraries.
