About this asset

This modern bench, modelled in SketchUp, features a white tufted fabric seat supported by a clean-lined, natural wood frame structure. The bench presents a minimalist silhouette, defined by a long, rectangular seat cushion with a subtle tufted surface pattern. The upholstery is finished in a clean white fabric, providing a soft contrast to the rigid, warm-toned natural wood frame. The base consists of four tapered legs integrated into a streamlined support structure that follows the perimeter of the seat. This piece maintains a balanced, low-profile aesthetic, suitable for various interior settings. The joinery and proportions are designed for clarity and function, ensuring the object remains a versatile addition to any contemporary space.

The download is a 6.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is structured for efficient placement within your model. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy snapping to floor planes or wall alignments. You can apply custom material textures to the fabric or wood surfaces through the materials panel to match specific project requirements. It is recommended to keep the bench on a dedicated layer for toggling visibility during complex scene editing. Scaling should be performed uniformly if adjustments to the overall length are required for tight spatial constraints.

This bench is an ideal candidate for residential entryways, bedroom foot-of-bed placement, or minimalist lounge areas in hospitality projects. It pairs well with contemporary interior design schemes, particularly those featuring light oak or walnut accents. Architects and interior designers often search for clean-lined, upholstered benches to provide functional seating in circulation spaces or waiting areas. Its neutral palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into both high-end residential developments and boutique retail showrooms, offering a refined look that complements modern furniture arrangements.
