Contemporary Dark Wood Desk with Matching Office Chair

This contemporary 3ds Max set features a dark wood desk with fluted cylindrical supports and a matching upholstered office chair. The desk presents a sleek, minimalist aesthetic, defined by its dark-stained timber surface with rounded edges. It is supported by two substantial, cylindrical legs that feature a vertical fluted texture, providing a subtle contrast to the smooth desktop. Accompanying the desk is an office chair with a distinct oval-shaped backrest and curved armrests, upholstered in a neutral beige fabric. The set includes decorative accessories such as a laptop, a small vase with branches, and a stack of books, which help establish a refined, professional atmosphere suitable for modern interior compositions.

The download is a 16.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can merge this set directly into a 3ds Max scene as a single group. The objects are organised by layers, allowing for easy selection of the desk or chair independently. Textures are applied using standard material slots, which can be easily swapped or adjusted to match specific lighting setups. The geometry is clean, ensuring efficient performance when rendering in various engines, and the pivot points are correctly positioned at the floor level for simplified placement within a project environment.

This desk and chair combination is ideal for high-end residential home offices, private executive suites, or boutique hotel rooms. Its clean, contemporary lines pair well with minimalist interior styles and warm, natural colour palettes. Architects and interior designers might specify this set for projects requiring a sophisticated, uncluttered look. It is a versatile choice for scenes focusing on productivity or quiet study, complementing bookshelves, floor lamps, and area rugs to create a cohesive and functional workspace for a professional client.
