About this asset

This modern wall storage unit, modelled in 3ds Max, features a clean white cabinet section paired with an open-faced wood shelving unit. Designed for floor-to-ceiling applications, this storage unit combines a series of smooth, handleless white cabinet doors with a contrasting open-faced shelving section on the left. The shelving is crafted in a natural wood finish and includes integrated vertical accent lighting, providing a warm aesthetic against the crisp white cabinetry. A horizontal recessed shelf runs across the entire width of the unit, creating a unified visual line that bridges the closed storage and the open display area. The proportions are balanced, making this piece suitable for contemporary living spaces or executive office environments.

The download is a 36.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When using this model in 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is set to the base for easy placement against walls. The storage unit is organised by layer, allowing for independent control of the cabinetry and shelving components. Users should apply high-resolution wood grain textures to the open shelves and use a clean, matte white material for the cabinet faces. For optimal realism, adjust the light intensity of the integrated LED strips to match the ambient lighting of the overall scene interior.

This storage unit is an ideal choice for residential living rooms, home offices, or modern library spaces where a mix of concealed and display storage is required. It pairs well with minimalist furniture and neutral colour palettes. Professionals might search for this asset when designing custom media walls, feature walls, or storage-heavy interiors. It provides a functional solution for organising books, decor, and media components while serving as a prominent architectural feature within a room, especially when installed as a custom joinery piece.
