About this asset

This modern wall-mounted TV cabinet for 3ds Max features a clean, horizontal silhouette with a natural wood top and white drawer fronts. Characterised by a minimalist aesthetic, this floating TV console provides a streamlined storage solution for contemporary living spaces. The design consists of a long, linear frame finished in a warm, natural wood grain, paired with matte white drawer faces that offer a crisp contrast. The unit includes an open-fronted storage section on the left side, ideal for media devices, alongside three closed drawers for concealed organisation. Its wall-mounted configuration creates a light, airy appearance, effectively reducing visual clutter while maintaining a functional surface for decorative items or media equipment.

The download is an 18.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the unit is aligned with the wall surface using the snap tool for precise positioning. The geometry is organised by component, allowing for easy material assignment or modification of the wood and matte finishes. Users should verify that the pivot point is set to the rear face for simplified placement against vertical surfaces. Lighting setups should account for the unit's floating nature to ensure realistic shadow casting beneath the cabinet.

This console is a versatile addition to residential interiors, particularly in living rooms, media suites, or home entertainment areas where floor space is at a premium. It complements minimalist and Scandinavian-inspired decor, pairing well with wall-mounted televisions and concealed cable management systems. Professionals often search for this type of floating media unit when designing compact apartments or open-plan living zones that require clean, functional lines. It serves as an effective focal point in contemporary interior design projects seeking a sophisticated, uncluttered look.
