Contemporary Walnut and Glass Nesting Coffee Table Set

This contemporary nesting coffee table set for 3ds Max features two circular walnut-framed tables with inset glass tops and metal legs. Comprising two circular tables of varying heights, this nesting set offers a versatile solution for living areas. The primary structure consists of circular solid walnut frames that securely house inset glass tabletops. These wooden rims provide a warm, natural aesthetic, contrasted by slender, tapered black metal legs that ensure stability while maintaining a minimalist profile. The nesting design allows the smaller unit to slide partially beneath the larger one, creating a tiered surface arrangement. This set is provided with decorative accessories including a glass vase with foliage, a small tray, and books, adding immediate realism.

The download is an 8.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation. Users can scale the nested configuration or separate the two tables to suit specific floor plan requirements. The materials are mapped with appropriate textures for the walnut grain and reflective glass properties. Standard practice involves merging the asset into your scene and adjusting the pivot points if needed. Ensure the light paths are correctly set to capture the transparency of the glass surfaces and the subtle highlights on the dark metal legs.
