Modern White and Sage Kids Room Storage Scene

This modern kids room storage scene in SketchUp features a house-shaped reading nook, integrated desk, and modular shelving units. Designed for a contemporary children's bedroom, this cohesive storage system combines a white house-profile reading nook with a built-in desk workstation. The assembly includes vertical shelving with integrated lighting, a sage-toned fluted wall panel, and a wall-mounted desk with a matching chair. The colour palette balances clean white cabinetry with soft sage accents and dark grey vertical timber slats. A built-in bench provides seating for the reading area, while the upper cabinets offer closed storage. The set is completed with decorative accessories including a globe, books, and a modern desk lamp.

The download is a 122 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model, use the component browser to import the assembly into your project file. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated furniture layer to maintain scene organisation. The file includes grouped elements that can be ungrouped to adjust the desk or shelving configuration independently. Apply textures via the material editor if custom finishes are required, and use the included lighting nodes to calibrate the scene's ambient light for final rendering within your preferred SketchUp-compatible engine.
