About this asset

This modern extendable dining set for 3ds Max features a space-saving design with a central storage core and four folding chairs. This compact dining solution comprises a rectangular table with two white leaves and a central natural-wood storage base, accompanied by four slim-profile folding chairs. The table surfaces are finished in a crisp white, contrasting with the warm-toned timber legs and central cabinet structure. The chairs feature a minimalist metal frame with slatted seats and backrests, designed to fold away for efficient storage. The central base provides a functional core, allowing the table surface to expand or retract as needed. A small potted plant and a large circular wall clock complete the set.

The download is a 33.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can merge this set into their 3ds Max scenes as a single block or individual components. The folding chairs are positioned around the central table unit, allowing for easy adjustment of the layout. Materials are applied to separate components, enabling quick customisation of the wood grain or metal finish. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned for animation if simulating the folding motion. The model is scaled for standard residential heights, making it ready for immediate placement in interior visualisations.

Ideal for small-footprint apartments, studio flats, or breakout areas in modern offices, this dining set is a versatile choice for space-conscious designs. It fits seamlessly into minimalist or contemporary kitchen-dining environments where flexibility is prioritised. Professionals searching for compact furniture, space-saving tables, or convertible dining arrangements will find this asset particularly useful. It pairs effectively with neutral wall finishes and light timber flooring, maintaining a clean, uncluttered aesthetic in both residential and hospitality projects such as serviced apartments or boutique cafes.
