About this asset

This 3ds Max dining set features a rectangular white table paired with six grey velvet chairs on natural wood legs for a modern interior. This contemporary 6-seater dining set comprises a minimalist rectangular table with a clean white surface and a tapered natural wood frame. The six accompanying dining chairs feature a soft, grey velvet upholstery with a subtle central vertical seam on the backrest. Each chair sits on splayed, light-toned timber legs that complement the table structure. The set includes a small decorative arrangement of a vase and a potted plant, adding a touch of life to the composition. The proportions are balanced, making this an ideal choice for open-plan living and dining areas requiring a cohesive, neutral aesthetic.

The download is an 8.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation. Users can adjust the material IDs to customise the fabric sheen or timber finish to match specific project palettes. Proper pivot points are set at the base of the legs for accurate placement on floor surfaces, and the textures are mapped for standard render engine compatibility without requiring complex re-scaling or adjustments.

This dining set is versatile for residential projects, particularly in modern apartments, dining rooms, or kitchen-diner spaces. It also functions well in hospitality settings such as boutique cafes or hotel dining areas. Designers often search for these pieces when creating clean, scandinavian-inspired or minimalist environments. The neutral grey and white palette pairs effortlessly with light timber flooring, textured rugs, or minimalist pendant lighting. It is a reliable asset for visualising everyday family dining scenarios or professional meeting spaces that require a welcoming atmosphere.
