About this asset

This modern white and brown plaster wall panel SketchUp model features a geometric arrangement of square tiles with curled edges. This sculptural wall panel consists of a square base plate featuring a grid of nine smaller square tiles. Each tile is finished with a smooth plaster texture and is sculpted to appear as if the corners are peeling away from the surface, creating a dynamic sense of depth and shadow. One tile is rendered in a deep, contrasting brown tone, while the remaining eight are finished in a crisp, matte white. The piece provides a tactile, three-dimensional aesthetic that breaks up flat wall surfaces through play with light and form.

The download is an 11.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Utilise this SketchUp file by importing the geometry directly into your project as a component. The model is structured for easy alignment against vertical interior surfaces. You can apply custom materials or adjust the existing plaster textures within the SketchUp material editor to suit your specific lighting scheme. Ensure the face normals are oriented correctly to avoid rendering artifacts, and use the native scaling tools to fit the panel to your specific wall dimensions as required for your final presentation.

This decorative element is ideal for adding visual interest to feature walls in residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or high-end retail showrooms. It pairs effectively with minimalist interiors where a single, bold sculptural focus is desired. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of wall decor when looking to introduce texture into clean, contemporary spaces. It works well as a standalone focal point behind a sofa, a reception desk, or within a gallery-style corridor to enhance the overall spatial design.
