About this asset

This 3ds Max model of a modern white and blue storage cabinet features an asymmetrical configuration of open shelves, cupboards and drawers. This storage unit presents a clean, modern aesthetic defined by a white frame contrasted with blue interior backing on select compartments. The design is highly asymmetrical, integrating a mix of closed storage via two-door cupboards and four drawers, alongside several open display niches of varying sizes. Small, metallic-finish handles are applied to all doors and drawer fronts. The unit provides a balanced mix of concealed and open storage, making it suitable for displaying decorative items, books, and small accessories while keeping bulkier belongings neatly tucked away behind solid panels.

The download is a 4.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical grouping for easy manipulation. Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise placement against walls. The materials are applied using standard mapping, allowing for quick adjustments to the white and blue finishes to suit specific interior lighting setups. The asset is light enough to be populated in larger room scenes without significantly impacting viewport performance, provided it is managed via layers to toggle visibility during the modelling process.

This versatile piece functions effectively in contemporary home offices, living rooms, or children's bedrooms where organized storage is required. It pairs well with minimalist desk setups or casual lounge furniture. Designers searching for flexible shelving solutions, multi-compartment cabinets, or accent storage units will find this model useful for populating residential or light-commercial interiors. Its neutral white exterior ensures compatibility with a wide range of colour palettes, while the blue accents provide a subtle, modern point of interest for interior visualisations.
