About this asset

This modern roller blind set for SketchUp features twelve distinct fabric variations in a range of geometric and check patterns. This collection of roller blinds provides a versatile solution for interior window treatments. The set includes twelve units, showcasing a variety of textures and patterns, including classic monochrome checks, diamond-stitched textures in navy and beige, and a subtle light grey linen-look fabric. Each blind is housed in a clean, minimalist white headrail with a simple cord mechanism for operation. The variety of sizes allows for application across different window dimensions, offering a balanced mix of architectural detail and functional textile elements suitable for diverse interior design schemes.

The download is a 20 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 12 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating these into a SketchUp model, place the components using the move tool to align them precisely with window reveals. Since the models are grouped, you can easily swap material textures or adjust the length of the fabric drop to suit specific glazing heights. Ensure the headrail is mounted to the wall or ceiling face as required. Using the native materials editor, you can further refine the fabric's transparency or bump mapping to achieve the desired light filtration effect for your renders.

Ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and home offices, these blinds offer a quick way to add realism to interior visualisations. They also function well in commercial settings like office meeting rooms or boutique hotel suites where a clean, contemporary aesthetic is required. Architects and designers can use these to demonstrate light control options during the design development stage. Pair them with modern curtain rods or sheer drapes to create layered window treatments that enhance the depth and comfort of any space.
