About this asset

This modern SketchUp model features a set of five fabric Roman blinds in neutral tones, showcasing varying degrees of vertical retraction. This collection of five Roman blinds offers a clean, contemporary aesthetic suitable for diverse interior styles. Each unit is constructed from a textured fabric, presented in a graded palette ranging from crisp white and light beige to deep charcoal and dark grey. The design features a classic horizontal fold mechanism, with each blind depicted at a different stage of opening or closing, from fully extended to partially retracted. Slim vertical control cords and weighted bottom bars are included, providing realistic detail for architectural visualisations and interior design presentations.

The download is a 25.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 5 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these blinds into a SketchUp scene, import the component and use the native scale tool to adjust the width and height to match specific window openings. The fabric texture is mapped for consistent visual quality, allowing for quick material adjustments or colour overrides using the paint bucket tool. Ensure the blinds are placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility control, and group them appropriately to maintain a clean and organised model hierarchy during the design process.

These Roman blinds are well-suited for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or professional office spaces where a minimalist window treatment is required. They pair effectively with modern interior schemes and provide a soft, tactile element to clean architectural lines. Professionals often search for these assets when detailing high-end apartment finishes, hotel suites, or boutique commercial interiors. Use these models to add realism to daylight studies or interior renderings, ensuring the neutral palette complements a wide range of wall finishes and furniture configurations.
