About this asset

This modern layered fabric curtain set for SketchUp features a versatile combination of solid and patterned panels in neutral tones. This curtain set consists of a multi-layered arrangement designed to provide both privacy and soft light diffusion. The composition includes central white floor-to-ceiling panels, flanked by sage green drapes, and accented with secondary patterned sheer panels. The fabric features realistic, deep vertical pleats that suggest a high-quality drape and natural movement. The set is presented as a singular, cohesive unit, complete with a small decorative potted plant element. Its neutral palette of white, beige, and sage green allows for seamless integration into various interior design schemes, from minimalist to contemporary.

The download is a 43.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model functions as a grouped collection of geometry. Users can easily adjust the width by scaling the components along the horizontal axis or by moving the individual curtain panels to fit specific window frames. The fabric textures are mapped to respond well to standard rendering plugins, allowing for adjustments in transparency and bump mapping to enhance the depth of the pleats. It is recommended to place the model on a dedicated layer for easy toggling during the design process.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and hotel suites where a layered, textile-heavy aesthetic is desired. They pair effectively with modern furniture, timber flooring, and neutral wall finishes. Architects and interior designers often search for these assets to add realism to interior visualisations and to demonstrate window treatment options in high-end project presentations. They provide an essential soft-furnishing touch that helps define the atmosphere of a space during the final stages of a 3D modelling project.
