Modern Kids Room Storage and Decor Scene

This modern kids room storage scene for SketchUp features a modular configuration of timber shelving, circular reading nooks, and wall-mounted decor. This comprehensive storage system for children's spaces comprises a long, low-profile timber base unit punctuated by two large circular reading nooks with blue interiors. Above this, the arrangement includes a variety of wall-mounted storage solutions, ranging from a wide, rounded-corner bookshelf to a grid-based cubby unit and a whimsical, house-shaped display series. The aesthetic is clean and contemporary, utilising light natural wood tones accented by soft pastel and muted blue accents. The set is populated with various decorative elements, including cactus-shaped cushions, framed wall art, and small toys, creating a fully styled functional environment.

The download is a 143 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When using this SketchUp scene, maintain the organisational structure by keeping the wall-mounted elements and the base unit on separate layers for easy visibility toggling. The model is scaled for standard residential ceiling heights, but users should check the overall footprint against their specific room dimensions. Apply materials via the native paint bucket tool if customisation is needed, and ensure all grouped components are locked to prevent accidental geometry displacement during the final layout stage of the interior design project.
