About this asset

These modern grey metal Venetian blinds for SketchUp feature a precise horizontal slat design suitable for professional interior renders. Designed with a clean, functional aesthetic, these Venetian blinds consist of a top mounting headrail and a series of thin, horizontal slats. The uniform grey finish suggests a metallic construction, providing a sleek look that integrates into contemporary workspaces or minimalist residential interiors. The geometry is lightweight, focusing on the essential form of the window covering without unnecessary detail. The slats are depicted in a closed or semi-closed position, offering a neutral appearance that maintains a consistent visual scale, making it a reliable addition to any architectural model requiring window detailing.

The download is a 614 KB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best utilized by placing it within the window reveal or mounting it to the wall surface above the frame. Since it is a lightweight model, it can be easily scaled to fit various window dimensions. Users should ensure the model is on a dedicated layer or tag to manage visibility during the design process. Applying high-quality metallic materials or adjusting the transparency of the slats can further enhance the realism of the window treatment in final visualizations.

These blinds are ideal for residential living rooms, home offices, and commercial workspaces where light control and a modern aesthetic are required. They pair well with minimalist window frames and simple interior palettes. Professionals often search for these when populating architectural visualizations for office fit-outs or apartment staging. Their neutral design makes them a versatile choice for projects ranging from early-stage conceptual massing to final high-fidelity renderings, ensuring a clean and professional finish to any interior space.
