About this asset

This modern office chair for 3ds Max features a grey fabric seat and a contoured backrest with integrated head support. This task chair features a contemporary ergonomic design, characterised by a high-back profile with a distinct central panel and integrated headrest. The seat cushion and headrest are upholstered in a textured dark grey fabric, providing a contrast to the black plastic frame and five-star base. It includes fixed armrests and a swivel mechanism mounted on a central gas-lift column with five hooded castors for mobility. The backrest is designed with ventilation slots, ensuring a lightweight aesthetic while maintaining structural support for long-duration use in professional or home office settings.

The download is a 9.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, place the chair using the pivot point located at the base for accurate rotation. The geometry is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the seat, frame, or base components. Users can apply custom materials to the fabric parts to match specific interior colour palettes. Ensure the scale is verified against standard desk heights to maintain ergonomic accuracy within the workspace environment during the final rendering process.

This piece is suitable for a wide range of interior projects, including corporate office fit-outs, private home studies, and modern executive suites. It pairs effectively with minimalist work desks and neutral workspace colour schemes. Professionals should search for this item when populating commercial interiors, co-working spaces, or high-end residential home offices. It serves as a functional and aesthetic addition to any scene requiring a clean, professional seating solution that balances comfort with a contemporary, streamlined industrial appearance.
