Modern Grey and White Fabric Curtain Set

This modern 3ds Max curtain set features a dual-layer configuration of dark grey blackout fabric paired with a light, sheer white panel. This window treatment set comprises two distinct curtain assemblies, each featuring a layered design. The primary panel consists of a dense, opaque dark grey fabric, providing significant light blockage and privacy. Behind this, a lighter, semi-transparent white sheer panel adds depth and diffusion to the light. Both layers show natural, vertical pleating and soft, realistic folds that hang from a simple top heading. The proportions are designed to represent standard floor-to-ceiling window applications, offering a clean, contemporary aesthetic suitable for high-end residential interiors or hotel rooms where layered lighting control is required.

The download is an 18 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate these curtains into a 3ds Max scene, import the assets and align the top heading with your window frame or curtain track geometry. Users should apply appropriate material IDs to the two distinct fabric types to control opacity and light transmission settings. Adjust the pivot points at the top of the pleats for easy scaling or rotation. For visualisations, ensure the sheer layer has a light-translucent material property enabled to achieve a realistic diffusion effect when placed against natural light sources.
