About this asset

This suspended 3ds Max model features a natural arrangement of dried pampas grass and fresh eucalyptus foliage for interior displays. The installation consists of a dense, organic cluster of dried, feathery pampas grass plumes interspersed with sprigs of deep green eucalyptus leaves. The composition is designed to be suspended from above, creating a floating, airy aesthetic. The contrast between the soft, beige, dried textures of the grasses and the structured, waxy green leaves provides visual depth. The arrangement is held together by fine, nearly invisible suspension wires, allowing the botanical elements to appear as if they are naturally hovering within the space, making it a focal piece for high-ceilinged interiors.

The download is a 61.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, use the included suspension wires as a guide for height adjustment. The vegetation assets are mapped with high-resolution textures suitable for close-up shots. Ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned with the top of the suspension cables to simplify placement. If using in a different engine, verify the opacity maps on the foliage to maintain the delicate, semi-transparent quality of the leaves and grass plumes during rendering.

This botanical installation is ideal for residential dining areas, boutique retail displays, or hotel lobby receptions where a natural, wabi-sabi aesthetic is required. It works effectively as a statement piece over a dining table or as a floating partition in open-plan layouts. Designers looking for soft, organic elements to break up rigid architectural lines will find this asset useful. It pairs well with minimalist furniture, raw timber surfaces, and neutral colour palettes, often searched as hanging floral decor or ceiling-mounted botanical installations.
