Modern Green Acrylic Folding Chair with Chrome Frame

This modern folding chair 3ds Max model features a translucent green acrylic seat and backrest supported by a slender chrome frame. The chair exhibits a minimalist folding design, defined by its lightweight aesthetic and industrial material palette. It comprises a curved backrest and a rectangular seat, both crafted from polished, semi-transparent green acrylic. These elements are mounted onto a tubular chrome-plated steel structure, which includes simple pivot hinges allowing the chair to fold flat. The proportions are compact, emphasizing clean lines and a functional, space-saving silhouette. The reflective quality of the chrome against the pale, cool-toned acrylic creates a contemporary, airy appearance suitable for high-end residential or boutique retail environments where visual lightness is essential.

The download is a 5.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organized with clear object naming and clean geometry to facilitate efficient scene management. Users should apply a standard glass or dielectric material shader to the acrylic components to achieve the desired level of transparency and light refraction. The pivot points are aligned for ease of animation, allowing the chair to be shown in both folded and unfolded states. Ensure the scene lighting includes an HDRI environment to accurately capture the reflections on the chrome-plated frame.
