About this asset

This 3ds Max model set features four distinct modern indoor plants in varied stone and ceramic pots for architectural interior scenes. This collection comprises four unique indoor plants, each housed in a distinct contemporary container. The set includes a slender, multi-stemmed plant with thin, radiating leaves; a dense, tiered palm-like specimen; a delicate, branching fern-style plant; and a tall, thin-leaved variety with a minimalist profile. The pots range from smooth, matte black cylindrical vessels to textured, mottled grey stone-effect urns. These assets are curated to provide varied heights, foliage densities, and textures, ensuring a naturalistic and layered appearance when placed together in a residential or commercial interior space.

The download is a 65.6 MB file containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these assets are best managed as individual objects or grouped instances. Use the native pivot points to position them accurately on floor surfaces or atop consoles. Materials are pre-applied, allowing for quick adjustments to leaf translucency or pot reflectivity via the material editor. Ensure these are placed on a dedicated layer for easy toggling during heavy rendering passes, and consider using scatter tools or simple manual rotation to avoid repetitive patterns in larger architectural visualisations.

Ideal for adding life and organic texture to contemporary living rooms, hotel lobbies, and professional office reception areas, these plants serve as excellent focal points or corner fillers. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture, stone flooring, and neutral wall finishes, softening the rigid lines of modern architecture. Search for these by terms such as indoor greenery, architectural plants, or potted decorative sets when looking to populate interior scenes, as they integrate seamlessly into high-end residential, hospitality, or corporate design projects.
