Modern Cream and Charcoal Reception Desk with Integrated Storage

This modern SketchUp reception desk features a dual-workstation layout with a sculptural cream upper counter and charcoal base storage. Designed for professional environments, this reception desk showcases a contemporary aesthetic through its contrasting two-tone palette. The upper section consists of a sweeping, organic-shaped cream counter surface that provides a clean, welcoming front facade. Beneath this, the structural base is finished in a deep charcoal, housing integrated storage solutions including lockable cabinets, open shelving, and dedicated CPU compartments. The internal workspace is ergonomically planned for two staff members, featuring cable management ports and ample room for monitors and peripherals. The overall construction suggests a durable composite material finish, suitable for high-traffic public lobby areas.

The download is a 61.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement into larger lobby or office floor plans. Users can manipulate the internal storage components independently or scale the entire unit to fit specific room dimensions. Materials are applied to separate faces, facilitating quick colour adjustments or texture swaps to match interior schemes. For rendering, ensure the surfaces are correctly oriented to avoid shading artifacts, and use standard lighting setups to highlight the contrast between the cream counter and charcoal base.
