About this asset

This 3ds Max dining set features a rectangular timber-topped table and six molded shell chairs, ideal for contemporary interior scenes. This dining set comprises a rectangular table with a prominent wood-grain veneer surface supported by slender, splayed metal legs with contrasting tips. Accompanying the table are six mid-century inspired chairs, each featuring a contoured, brown-toned molded seat shell. The chairs are supported by a complex black metal wire base, characteristic of classic cafe-style seating. The assembly provides a balanced aesthetic, combining the warmth of natural wood textures with the industrial precision of thin-gauge metal supports. The set is presented with minimal decorative accessories, highlighting its clean lines and functional proportions.

The download is a 16.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical groups for easy manipulation. Users can apply custom wood grain shaders or modify the metallic finish on the chair bases via the material editor. The chairs are instanced or grouped, allowing for quick layout adjustments or individual placement within a floor plan. Standard pivot points are located at the base of each object, facilitating accurate alignment with floor surfaces or rug assets in your interior render setup.

This dining set is suited for residential dining rooms, compact kitchen areas, or contemporary cafe and restaurant interiors. It works well in projects requiring a mid-century modern influence or a clean, minimalist aesthetic. Professionals might search for this when specifying furniture for open-plan living spaces or commercial hospitality fit-outs. It pairs effectively with pendant lighting, simple area rugs, or neutral wall finishes. The neutral palette ensures versatility across various design schemes, from Scandinavian-inspired homes to urban loft apartments.
