Modern Black Leather Chrome Frame Lounge Chair

This modern 3ds Max lounge chair features a distinct tubular chrome frame and black leather upholstery, ideal for high-end interiors. This iconic-style lounge chair is defined by its minimalist, industrial-inspired aesthetic, featuring a continuous tubular steel frame finished in polished chrome. The seat, backrest, and armrests consist of taut black leather straps suspended within the metallic structure, creating a suspended seating profile. The design emphasises clean geometric lines and open transparency, characteristic of early twentieth-century modernist furniture. Every connection point between the frame and the leather support is carefully detailed to maintain the structural integrity of the piece while ensuring a sleek, uncluttered appearance suitable for contemporary architectural visualisations.

The download is a 25.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this chair into a 3ds Max scene, use the native object hierarchy to manage the chrome frame and leather elements on separate layers for easier material adjustments. Ensure the reflection maps are correctly assigned to the chrome surfaces to capture accurate environmental lighting. The model is scaled to standard ergonomic dimensions, allowing for straightforward placement within interior scenes without extensive transformation. Use standard lighting setups to highlight the contrast between the reflective metallic frame and the matte-finish leather components.
