Modern Black and White Media Wall Unit

This modern black and white media wall unit for 3ds Max features integrated shelving, hidden storage compartments, and warm LED accent lighting. This expansive media wall unit is defined by a high-contrast palette, pairing matte black vertical and horizontal framing with clean white cabinet facings. The configuration includes a central recessed area for a wall-mounted television, flanked by open vertical shelving bays for books and display items. Below, a continuous run of low-profile, handleless storage drawers provides a sleek, minimalist base. A recessed horizontal channel with integrated LED lighting runs across the entire length of the unit, casting a soft glow over the lower storage surface and adding depth to the overall composition.

The download is a 57 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this unit into a 3ds Max scene, import the model and align it against the desired wall plane. The asset is structured with distinct material IDs, allowing for easy adjustment of the matte finishes. Users should verify the light setup for the integrated LED strip, ensuring the intensity is balanced with the scene's primary lighting. For optimal rendering, place the unit on a dedicated layer to manage visibility and apply custom textures to the shelving contents if further detail is required.

This media wall is ideal for contemporary living rooms, home cinemas, or high-end apartment projects where a clean, built-in aesthetic is requested. It pairs well with minimalist interior schemes and provides a structured focal point for open-plan living areas. Professionals often search for this type of bespoke joinery when looking for integrated storage solutions that combine media display with functional shelving. It is suitable for use in both early-stage conceptual visualisations and detailed interior design presentation renderings for residential developments.
