Japanese Zen Garden Rock and Vegetation Set

This Japanese Zen garden collection for 3ds Max features eight detailed rock and vegetation arrangements for landscape design. Comprising eight distinct groupings, this set combines natural rock formations with curated greenery to replicate traditional Japanese garden aesthetics. Each arrangement is unique, featuring varying scales of grey stone, textured planting, and sculptural trees. Specific elements include water features, bamboo, bonsai-style pines, and small stone lanterns. The composition balances rugged, weathered stone textures with delicate foliage, providing a realistic foundation for exterior visualizations. These assets are pre-assembled, offering a cohesive look that integrates diverse botanical species with hardscape elements, suitable for creating serene, meditative environments in high-fidelity architectural renderings.

The download is a 286 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 8 separate objects. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

These assets are designed for efficient integration into 3ds Max scenes as proxy or mesh objects. Professionals can easily drag and drop these arrangements into their master landscape files, using them to populate courtyards or terrace areas. Due to their complexity, it is recommended to manage these as separate layers to maintain viewport performance. Adjust the material shaders to match specific lighting conditions, ensuring the stone and leaf textures react correctly to global illumination settings and environmental light.
