About this asset

This modern beige fabric L-shaped sectional sofa, provided as a 3ds Max model, features an integrated dark wood side table and decorative cushions. Defined by clean, linear geometry, this L-shaped sectional sofa offers a balanced profile with a low backrest and integrated chaise lounge. The primary upholstery is a neutral beige fabric, complemented by a set of scatter cushions in varied tones of brown, black, and patterned monochrome. A notable functional detail is the integrated dark-toned wooden side table extending from the end of the chaise, providing a flush surface for small accessories. The piece rests on a slim base, maintaining a low-profile aesthetic suitable for open-plan living areas or contemporary lounge configurations.

The download is a 16.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can import this model into 3ds Max, where it is organised with logical layer naming for efficient scene management. The fabric and wood textures should be mapped using standard UVW unwrap modifiers to ensure consistent scale. Since the model includes a set of cushions as separate objects, designers can easily toggle their visibility or rearrange them to suit specific camera angles. Ensure that the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for seamless placement on floor planes within the scene.

This sectional sofa is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, hotel lobby lounges, and contemporary apartment interiors. Its L-shaped footprint makes it ideal for defining seating zones in open-plan spaces, where it pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables and area rugs. Professionals searching for a modular sofa with built-in storage or surface utility will find this asset versatile for both interior design visualisation and architectural staging, particularly in projects focusing on functional, space-efficient furniture arrangements.
