Modern Assorted Bookshelf and Display Cabinet Set

This SketchUp model set features sixteen modern bookshelf and wall-mounted storage units with diverse modular configurations. This collection provides a wide variety of shelving solutions, ranging from floor-standing bookcases on casters to wall-mounted geometric units. The designs include open-grid structures, asymmetrical partition layouts, and minimalist suspended shelves. Materials appear to be a mix of timber and metal, finished in monochrome palettes of white, black, and natural wood tones, with some units featuring integrated coloured back panels for accents. The set covers various geometries, including stepped, rectangular, and linear forms, allowing for versatile interior arrangements. Each unit is constructed with clean, sharp edges, suitable for contemporary interior design applications requiring functional, high-contrast storage.

The download is a 2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 16 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised as individual components, making them easy to select and move within your scene. Use the scale tool to adjust the overall dimensions to fit specific wall lengths or alcove depths. Since the geometry is relatively simple, you can easily apply custom wood grain or solid colour materials to the faces using the paint bucket tool. Ensure you place each shelf on a dedicated layer to manage visibility and keep the model file lightweight during the design process.
