About this asset

This diverse collection of decorative wall art for SketchUp features various framed prints, photographs, and abstract compositions. This comprehensive set includes twelve distinct framed artworks featuring a mix of black-and-white photography, vintage-style architectural sketches, and abstract graphic prints. The frames vary in finish, including matte black, metallic gold, and natural wood tones, providing a versatile aesthetic for gallery-style installations. Each piece is constructed with a simple, clean-lined profile and clear glazing, ensuring a realistic appearance within a 3D environment. The collection offers a balanced variety of portrait and landscape orientations, suitable for creating layered wall compositions in both residential and professional interior design projects.

The download is a 10.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 12 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Designers should ensure that the wall-mounted elements are properly aligned to the desired surface using the native move and rotate tools. To achieve a realistic look, apply a subtle reflection map to the glass surfaces and ensure the wall-mounted components are placed slightly off the wall face to avoid Z-fighting during rendering. Users can easily swap individual textures within the frames to customise the artwork.

These decorative pieces are ideal for populating gallery walls in living rooms, bedrooms, or hallways. They work effectively in hospitality settings like hotel lobbies or boutique cafes to add visual interest and a curated feel. Professionals searching for 'framed art collection', 'gallery wall assets', or 'interior decor for SketchUp' will find this set useful for finalising interior scenes. The varied styles allow for seamless integration into modern, transitional, or eclectic design schemes, providing a quick way to add personality to any space.
