About this asset

This modern curtain set for SketchUp features two distinct fabric drape styles in grey and white, suitable for interior visualisations. This asset comprises two separate curtain panels, each showcasing a different drapery aesthetic. One panel features a crisp, uniform vertical pleat pattern in a clean white finish, suggesting a structured, formal appearance. The adjacent panel is finished in a neutral grey, characterized by natural, flowing folds that drape softly toward the base. Both elements are modeled to capture the tactile quality of textile, offering a realistic sense of volume and depth. These panels are ideal for adding layers of softness and light control to architectural interior scenes in SketchUp.

The download is a 10.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, import this component as a group to maintain file organization. Use the scale tool to adjust the height and width to match specific window openings in your project. These models are optimized for quick placement; ensure you apply your preferred fabric textures or materials to the surfaces to match the interior palette. For high-quality renders, consider using the native geometry as a base for adding subtle displacement or bump maps to enhance the fabric's tactile appearance.

These curtains are essential for adding realism to residential bedrooms, living rooms, and hotel suites. They pair effectively with modern furniture layouts and neutral interior design schemes. When searching for these assets, professionals often look for window treatments, textile drapes, or soft furnishings that provide a sense of completion to a room. They serve as a practical addition to any architectural project requiring refined light management, helping to bridge the gap between hard architectural surfaces and comfortable, habitable living spaces.
