About this asset

This minimalist nesting side table set for 3ds Max features clean lines and a natural wood finish, ideal for compact interior spaces. Comprising two tables of varying sizes, this nesting set exhibits a simple, functional form. The square tabletops are supported by sturdy, integrated legs that allow the smaller unit to slide neatly beneath the larger one when not in use. Crafted with a consistent natural wood grain finish throughout, the design prioritises geometric clarity and space-saving utility. The set is presented with a small stack of books and decorative greenery on the larger surface, highlighting its potential for use as an occasional table or a flexible bedside surface in modern residential interiors.

The download is a 1.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these tables are organised as a singular group, allowing for easy placement and alignment within a scene. Users can adjust the individual positioning of each table by ungrouping the geometry to suit specific spatial requirements. The wood grain mapping is applied to ensure consistent texture orientation across the surfaces. It is recommended to utilise standard object snapping when placing these on floor planes to ensure accurate contact points, and to verify light interaction with the wood material using a neutral HDRI setup.

These versatile nesting tables are suitable for residential projects, particularly in living rooms, bedrooms, or smaller apartment studies where space efficiency is critical. They function effectively as a pair for a layered coffee table arrangement or separately as bedside stands. Professionals should search for these when specifying minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired furniture that requires a warm, organic material palette. They pair well with neutral-toned soft furnishings and are useful for filling awkward corners or providing temporary surfaces during social gatherings in contemporary home layouts.
