About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa features an organic curved silhouette, upholstered in beige fabric with an integrated circular side table. Defined by its sweeping, asymmetrical organic form, this sectional sofa offers a seamless profile with low-slung, rounded backrests. The primary seating area is upholstered in a soft, neutral beige textile, complemented by a contrast houndstooth throw pillow and a solid-toned lumbar cushion. A dark-stained circular timber side table is built directly into the extended right-hand end of the frame, providing a functional surface for small items. The piece includes a draped throw blanket, adding a layer of visual texture to the clean, minimalist lines of the overall construction.

The download is a 19.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single geometry group with logically assigned material IDs for the upholstery, timber table, and fabric accessories. Users should verify the texture mapping on the curved sections to ensure seamless distribution of the fabric grain. The model is scaled for standard interior scenes; it is recommended to apply a turbosmooth modifier if closer camera angles are required to maintain the integrity of the rounded edges across the frame and seat cushions.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern lounge areas, this sofa serves as a sculptural focal point in open-plan interiors. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables, textured area rugs, and ambient floor lighting to create a cohesive seating arrangement. Professionals searching for organic-shaped furniture or bespoke lounge seating will find this piece suitable for projects requiring a soft, inviting aesthetic that avoids rigid, traditional geometries while maintaining a sophisticated, contemporary presence in the space.
