About this asset

This minimalist 3ds Max desk set features a natural wood finish with white accents, including a matching chair and office accessories. The desk exhibits a clean, slab-sided silhouette constructed from natural wood veneer, complemented by a crisp white horizontal panel along the rear modesty board. Accompanying the desk is a mid-century inspired chair featuring a curved, dark-stained wood backrest and a tan leather seat pad, supported by slender black metal legs. The set also includes essential desktop styling elements: a brass-toned adjustable task lamp, a framed print, a stack of books with a small clock, and a minimalist wire-frame wastebasket. The proportions are balanced, offering a functional yet compact workspace solution for contemporary interiors.

The download is a 49.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Utilise this file in 3ds Max by merging the model into your scene as a single group. The components are organised by logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the desk, chair, or individual decor items. Materials are applied using standard PBR workflows, making it straightforward to adjust the wood grain scale or metal reflectivity to match your specific lighting environment. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the desk for efficient placement against walls or within room layouts.

This set is ideal for populating home offices, study nooks, or boutique hotel rooms where a cohesive, styled look is required. It pairs well with neutral palettes and light timber flooring, providing a realistic focal point for residential interior visualisations.
