Minimalist Monochrome Flip Desk Clock Set

This minimalist SketchUp flip desk clock set features two monochromatic timepieces with mechanical flip-style number displays. This duo of desk clocks showcases a clean, functional aesthetic defined by a central vertical support and a rounded base. The design incorporates a mechanical flip mechanism for both the hour and minute indicators, housed within a compact, modern frame. One clock features a black display with white numerals, while the second presents a white display with black typography, offering high contrast and readability. The construction appears to be a durable moulded plastic finish, suitable for a contemporary interior. These pieces provide a precise, industrial-inspired accent for any workspace or bedside console.

The download is a 10 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these clocks are best utilised as individual components. Users should ensure the axes are correctly aligned to the base for easy placement on horizontal surfaces. The geometry is clean, allowing for simple material overrides or colour adjustments to match specific project palettes. Given their size, they are ideal for populating detailed interior scenes; applying a subtle bump map to the flip-card surfaces can enhance the realism during rendering without adding unnecessary strain to the model's overall performance.

These clocks are essential for adding character to home office setups, bedside tables, or reception desks in commercial hospitality projects. They pair well with mid-century or contemporary furniture, serving as a focal point in a curated vignette. Professionals might search for them when staging residential interiors, modern workspaces, or boutique hotel rooms where a touch of retro-inspired functionality is required. They integrate seamlessly into scenes featuring books, task lighting, and other desk accessories to create a lived-in, authentic atmosphere for architectural visualisations.
