About this asset

This minimalist 3ds Max coffee table set features two round tables with a smooth cream plaster finish and organic, chunky forms. This set consists of a low-profile, circular coffee table and a matching taller, smaller-diameter side table. Both pieces exhibit a soft, sculptural aesthetic, defined by their matte, monolithic plaster-like surfaces. The larger table is supported by a combination of a substantial, rounded base and simpler cylindrical legs, creating an asymmetrical, balanced silhouette. The side table maintains a consistent design language with a single, robust cylindrical base. The set provides a cohesive, understated presence, ideal for spaces that prioritise tactile, organic shapes and a neutral, warm colour palette.

The download is a 97 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these assets are typically managed as a single group or individual objects within a scene layer. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for easy placement on floor geometry. The matte material can be adjusted via the material editor to control diffuse and bump maps, ensuring the plaster texture reacts appropriately to interior lighting setups. Scaling should be verified against standard furniture heights to maintain realistic proportions within the virtual environment.

These tables are well-suited for contemporary living rooms, reading nooks, or lounge areas in residential projects. They pair effectively with low-slung, soft-textured upholstery like boucle sofas or modular seating. Architects and designers often search for these pieces when creating serene, minimalist interiors where sculptural furniture acts as a subtle focal point. They are particularly useful for staging scenes that require a cohesive, curated look, fitting seamlessly into modern apartments or boutique hospitality environments that favour soft, rounded forms.
